Infowars:

The authors argue that “both fetuses and newborns do not have the same moral status as actual persons,” and that because abortion is allowed even when there is no problem with the fetus’ health, “killing a newborn should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled.”
“The fact that both are potential persons is morally irrelevant,” the authors claim, arguing that adoption is not a reasonable counter-argument because the parents of the baby might be economically or psychologically burdened the process and the mother may “suffer psychological distress”.
Opinion:
This proposed idea is sickening but not surprising:
Senator Obama voted three times to withold medical aid from children who survived abortion in order to avoid any distress on the mother. The child dies on the table.

Imagine what these ‘ethicists’ have in mind for the infirm and elderly… Adolf Hitler would be proud. May God have mercy.

American Thinker:
“Handwriting analysis may not be everyone’s favorite analytical tool, but millennia of such exterior methods have yielded largely intriguing and historically valid conclusions or observations. With reference to the 44th president: if you did not already know of his enormous arrogance and cocksureness, the president’s signature would shake you into that realization.”

Investors Business Daily Op-Ed:
“A new study released on Friday now suggests that slimmer federal tax receipts than anticipated from the sluggish Obama economy along with continued abundant spending by the Obama administration will likely move the date of the next debt deadline considerably forward so that it comes during this fall’s presidential election, with political debate beginning even earlier. The Bipartisan Policy Center previously predicted the newly-enlarged borrowing limit would not be reached until well into the first quarter of 2013. But no more.”

Candidate Barack Obama, March 2006:
“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “…the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”

Opinion:
The defense rests, your Honor.

Haaretz:
“Israel wants Obama to make further-reaching declarations than the vague assertion that “all options are on the table,” the official said. In particular, Netanyahu wants Obama to state unequivocally that the United States is preparing for a military operation in the event that Iran crosses certain “red lines,” said the official; Israel feels this will increase pressure on Iran by making clear that there exists a real U.S. threat.”

Christian Solidarity:
“CSW’s contacts report that Pastor Nadarkhani was in contact with his wife this week, although his lawyers are still seeking written confirmation of a report that the order for his execution has been issued. CSW continues to call for urgent prayer and action on his behalf.”

Opinion:
Please send this post to every Christian you know. We average between 400-500 readers per day in over 18 countries. If each of you would just contact 1 person, we could produce 1000 prayers today. Pray with my wife and me:

Father God, we ask Your divine hand of grace to touch Pastor Nadarkhani and his wife and sons today. Father, please spare him from the evil deeds of those who are plotting to take his life for following your Great Commission. If we lose Your servant here on earth, may his courage in not renouncing You even unto death, lead millions all over the world to You. Let the people of Iran see that the commitment to You is greater than anything this world has to offer. Let the people of Iran seek Your face. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.

Newt: I've Fallen Short Of The Glory Of God

Opinion:
Newt Gingrich’s confession is right in line with the Bible. The apostle Paul in Romans 3:10-12 describes the condition of humanity: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”

But the Bible never leaves us to despair: “But now apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

The leader of my small group says this: Grace + Faith + Nothing else = Salvation.
