“The appeals of both senior Israeli politicians fell on deaf ears in Ankara. As with past efforts to patch up relations between the two countries, the Turkish government of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan insists three outstanding issues must be settled before discussions regarding improvement can even begin.”

Opinion:
Here are the three issues:
1. Israel must apologize for the 2010 Mavi Marmara incident.
2. Israel must compensate the families of those who were killed.
3. Turkey demands that Israel lift its blockade of Gaza.

Each demand is more preposterous than the next. Israel, without a Gaza blockade to check for chemical weapons or other arms shipments, would essentially be turning a blind eye to Hamas and its only reason for existence… the total destruction of the Jewish state of Israel.

Turkey, without knowing it, is taking its pre-ordained place in Bible prophecy. Ezekiel 38:6 calls for the House of Togarmah (modern day Turkey), to be in league with Magog (Russia), Persia (Iran,) and several North African nations in the war of Gog and Magog.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan should read Ezekiel 38:21-22 before taking sides.

Gee, isn’t that great! Bill Clinton, who is one of the most accomplished liars (depends on the definition of is) and one of the most morally bankrupt and impeached presidents in US history, will support a president that he recently called incompetent and an amateur. Isn’t that great! Oh… I already said that.

Charged with the crime of apostasy, Mr. Nadarkhani faces a death sentence for refusing to recant the Christian faith he embraced as a child. He embodies piety and represents millions more suffering from repression—but his story is barely known.”

Opinion:
Where is the outrage? Methodists, Presbyterians, Catholics, and Evangelicals are way too quiet as one of our own brothers in Christ suffers for doing exactly what Jesus told us to do “Go make desciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:19-20.

Olympics Opening Ceremony Honored British Terror Victims, But Not Israelis Killed at Munich Games

CNSNews: The International Olympic Committee’s assertion last week that Friday’s London 2012 opening ceremony was not the appropriate setting to remember the Munich terror assault 40 years ago rang hollow after the event did include a moving tribute to others who have died, including British terror victims.”

Opinion:
There is only one possible reason that the Olympic committee would leave out the murdered Israeli athletes of the 1972 games, and it is the same reason that the Obama administration will not acknowledge Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Neither the Olympic committee nor the Obama camp want to offend the not-so-former terrorist who planned the entire slaughter… Mahmoud Abbas.

Former IDF chief of staff appointed chairman of board of Shemen Oil and Gas Exploration, Askenazi, will assist in the company’s strategic planning and drive gas and oil prospecting and production business opportunities.

Opinion:
Golda Meir, first woman PM of Israel, once quipped, “Let me tell you something that we Israelis have against Moses. He took us 40 years through the desert in order to bring us to the one spot in the Middle East that has no oil!”

Golda should have checked with the Bible:

“By the God of your father who will help you, And by the Almighty who will bless you With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lies beneath, Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.” Genesis 49:25

“They shall call the peoples to the mountain; There they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness; For they shall partake of the abundance of the seas And of treasures hidden in the sand.” Deuteronomy 33:19

“I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.” Isaiah 45:3

Watch as these prophecies are fulfilled, and how the balance of power in the ME changes. Watch as Lebanon and other nations try to lay claim to Israel’s gigantic natural gas find and soon-to-be huge oil find.

Lastly, watch as the Quartet (US, UN, EU and Russia) make fools of themselves trying to convince the world that Israel should give into global pressure and give up royalties to undeserving Arab nations.

This should be quite a show.
