“There is land on Egypt’s eastern border called occupied Arab Palestine,” said Saif Al-Dawla in response to a question on Egypt’s future relations with Israel. “This will remain its name till the end of time, and this is a national principle as well as a historic truth.”
Opinion:
Al-Dawla needs to read the Bible because he has got it dead wrong. The Arab as a Palestinian (a name that historically referred to Jews in the land of Palestine) was invented by Yasser Arafat.
In 1947, the Arab people in response to constant bickering about losing the Ottoman Empire, were offered a two-state solution. The offer was accepted by the Israeli side and turned down by the Arabs. On May 14, 1948 the state of Israel was born in one day or ‘brought forth in a moment’ in fulfillment of the Isaiah 66:7-8 prophecy. On that same day, Israel was attacked by Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
After Israel’s stunning victory, the Jordanian and Egyptian people who were left in Israel, were denied a return to their native countries and ordered to be put in detention camps by the King of Jordan. To this day, these people and their children are denied citizenship in both Egypt and Jordan.
It was in those camps that the bloodthirsty Arafat renamed these Arab people ‘Palestinians’. “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed” Adolf Hitler.
