We wrote about the evolving horror of after birth abortion last March. The legal doctrine of wrongful birth has been evolving for some time and fits perfectly into progressive left ideology.

Illinois Senator Barack Obama voted three times to withhold medical care from infants that survive abortion.

At first, it seemed impossible and out of the realm even of the Planned Parenthood crowd. But here it is in the UK and sure to come in the US; wrongful birth has become a legal tort. The concept of ‘inconvenient babies’ currently carries money damages for botched vasectomy or misread ultrasound and misdiagnosed physician exams.

But… that’s not where this train stops. Our post from March 6 quoted two advocates on the topic of after-birth abortion. In the Journal of Medical Ethics,Francesca Minerva and Alberto Giubilini have advanced a very simple proposition, which is that only “a person” deserves to live: “The moral status of an infant is equivalent to that of a fetus in the sense that both lack those properties that justify the attribution of a right to life to an individual. Both a fetus and a newborn certainly are human beings and potential persons, but neither is a ‘person’ in the sense of ‘subject of a moral right to life.”

Are you sickened by this? So is the God of the universe. The Author of life gave us these words: “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” Deuteronomy 30:19.

Fox News: “The words “bride” and “groom” – along with “husband” and “wife” are about to become archaic language in Washington state as officials prepare to remove the terms from marriage and divorce certificates.”

Opinion: A new world order requires the complete destruction of the old. The coming global dictator only has 7 years to totally dominate the world, so expect everything to change in advance.

Daniel 7: 23-25 describes the dictator as different from all others, he will speak blasphemy against the most high God, even changing the times and the seasons (calendar).

But the Bible is clear that the Lord God will judge all nations who divide Land of Israel. “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. The Times of Israel: ”Celebrations on Ramallah after General Assembly approves upgraded observer status; Netanyahu denounces Abbas’s hate-filled speech; Abbas says UN has ‘moral duty’ to support him; Turkey hails Palestinians ‘from Jerusalem to Gaza’; US regrets ‘unfortunate, counterproductive’ vote; Israeli government sources say Oslo is dead.”

Opinion: 1947–  “the Palestinians could have been celebrating the 65th anniversary of their state yesterday. The U.N. voted on the “Partition Plan,” giving part of British Mandated “Palestine” to the Jews to create the state of Israel, and part to the Arabs to create a Palestinian/Jordanian state. The Jewish leaders said yes to the U.N. plan, and created Israel. The Arabs said no to the U.N. plan, and went to war to destroy the Jews. They lost the war and got heartache and poverty instead.” Joel Rosenberg

Let’s take a look at a few of Mahmoud Abbas’ statements: “Palestine comes today to the General Assembly because it believes in peace and because its people, as proven in past days, are in desperate need of it.” Palestine believes in peace but not the Jewish people’s right to exist.

“Palestine comes today to this prestigious international forum, representative and protector of international legitimacy, reaffirming our conviction that the international community now stands before the last chance to save the two-state solution.” Prestigious international organization? How about the biggest Israel/US hating group in the world? Earth to not-so-former terrorist Abbas, you turned down the two-state solution in 1947.

Decisions, like elections, have consequences.

Haaretz: “Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian people are enjoying sweeping support in the lead up to Thursday night’s vote at the UN General Assembly over whether to upgrade the Palestinians’ standing to non-member observer status.”

Opinion: … “There! A people dwelling alone, Not reckoning itself among the nations”, Numbers 23:9.

Palestinian statehood leading to the final division of Jerusalem, according to Zechariah 14:2 is a Great Tribulation (last 3.5 years) event. Verses 3-4 give us the clue: “Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east.”

Gitmo detainees in Your Backyard?

Fox News: The Democratic chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence committee commissioned a federal report to identify prison facilities in the U.S. that are suitable for housing Guantanamo detainees, concluding the option is viable — despite congressional opposition to such a plan when the Obama administration proposed it.

“This report demonstrates that if the political will exists, we could finally close Guantanamo without imperiling our national security,” Feinstein said.

Opinion: Jan 22, 2009, President Obama signed his first executive order authorizing the closing of the state of the art prison at Gitmo. Imagine the outrage that 1600 will cause in America’s neighborhoods as the most dangerous prisoners come to the US to be housed on US soil and be tried in US courts.

So, just where are we going to put the al-Qaeda suspects from the Libya Benghazi massacre, that is, if we’re even looking for them?
