Front Page Mag: “After participating last week in a debate in London about Israeli communities beyond the 1949 armistice lines organized by the self-consciously pretentious Intelligence Squared debating society, I can now say from personal experience that Amis is correct. The public atmosphere in England regarding Israel is ugly and violent.

The resolution we debated read: “Israel is destroying itself with its settlement policy. If settlement expansion continues Israel will have no future.”

Opinion: A friend from the UK tells me that in addition to Muslim hostility towards the Jew, even the Church of England has joined in against Israel. And just like the  Obama/Netanyahu confrontations played out in the US mainstream media, Netanyahu is despised and rejected in the UK media as well.

That Israel is destroying itself with settlement policy is shared by virtually all nations, including the Obama administration, and many inside Israel. But according to Bible prophecy that just ain’t so:

The prophet Amos 9:15 clearly says that when the Jews are restored to the land they will never again be uprooted.  Genesis 12:3 and Obadiah 1:15 teach that the nations that curse the Jewish state will be dealt with harshly by Almighty God. We have His word on it.

  1. This is not the England I knew; not the England portrayed in so many movies of the last sixty years.

Gone are the English, to be swamped by Politically Correct, Health and Safety laws, and racial laws so biased as to make the Brits, of whatever shade, or origin, feel alone, despised and rejected in their own land. All we do is pick up the state bills with our taxes.

Like the US, civil war is not now unlikely.

Whoever might be Ron’s friend in the UK, I’d like to meet him, to exchange notes and experiences.

  2. In some of my travels to London, I would often ask myself if I stumbled into Pakistan. From a historical perspective, it’s hard to watch England march down this path.
