Foreign Policy: “The WTF moment for me in Obama’s second inaugural address, delivered Monday at noon, was his use of the phrase “peace in our time.” This came during his discussion of foreign policy, and in such circles, that phrase is a synonym for appeasement, especially of Hitler by Neville Chamberlain in September 1938. What signal does his using it send to Iran? I hope he was just using it to jerk Netanyahu’s chain.

Opinion: Hold on to your hat … I agree.

1. After more than 3000 posts, if you have been paying attention, you would know that I believe we are at the end of the age, or the last days before the return of Jesus Christ.

2. In one of my favorite books of the Bible the prophet Daniel prophesies a false peace: “Then he (anti-Christ) shall confirm a covenant (peace treaty) with many (Israel) for one week (Shabua means week of years or 7 years); But in the middle of the week (3.5 years) he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering (anti-Christ first allowed animal sacrifice then cancels it). And on the wing of abominations (Anti-Christ declares himself god in the rebuilt temple) shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.” Daniel 9:27

3. The only peace that will last is when Jesus returns with His saints: “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him … ” (Revelation 1:7) and He will destroy the evil one with the brightness of His coming (2 Thesssalonians 2:8).

One Response to ““Peace In Our Time””

  1. Jerk Bibi’s chain? Interesting thought, but I fear untrue. What other world leader would take a snub at an Obama dinner party and return to the Israeli Embassy in Washington and text the President personally with the words, f**k you! I’m off home. Don’t call me, I’ll call you!

Obama’s chain to the Knesset is like the emperor’s clothes … Bibi still has a whole deck of cards to play, one by one, and the ace is still Dimona, Ben Gurion’s Pants.

Yep! I’m a Bibi supporter, through and through, just as I met both Sharon and Shamir, and supported them also, with money, talks and much else.
