Canada Free Press: “In a recent article in The Telegraph, a London newspaper, Janet Daley summed it up in the wake of the events in Algeria and Mali, two African nations under attack by al Qaeda. “The money which once went into missile silos in Europe—or troops patrolling the Afghan border, or defending existing regimes in countries under threat from jihadi militants—will be spent on Obamacare and the entitlements programs which are close to bankruptcy.

As the U.S. draws down its involvement in Afghanistan, the rest of the world, but Europe in particular, has concluded that the U.S. will be a very limited power in the coming decades in which a war of attrition must be waged against al Qaeda.”

Opinion: We concur. The Bible does not describe a superpower resembling the US as a major player in the last days. The Bible does, however teach that there will be four power blocs of which the US is likely absorbed into one of them, namely the EU:

KING OF THE NORTH (GOG-MAGOG ALLIANCE): Russia, Iran and the Arab-Islamic alliance (Ezek. 38-39)

KING OF THE SOUTH: Egypt, Africa and Islamic North Africa (Dan. 11:40)

KINGS OF THE EAST: China and Southeast Asia (Rev. 16:12)

REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE/WESTERN ALLIANCE/BEAST ARMY OF ANTICHRIST: (Dan: 2:40, 7:7) If the European Union combines with the Mediterranean Union, together they will have the same land boundaries as the ancient Holy Roman Empire. The Benelux Treaty, signed in 1948 (the same year as the rebirth of Israel), began the unification of Europe. The Bible says that the revived Roman Empire will be led by the antichrist. (Rev. 17:12)

One Response to “The U.S. Tells the World ‘You’re On Your Own’”

  1. America is going the way of Britain, post First World War. Financially unstable, a depression in the twenties and thirties, withdrawing of minor overseas commitments. After the Second World War, the race to divest ourselves of military commitments was on. We were, and still are, all but bankrupt.

I believe this is all a direct consequence of taking ourselves away from the Living God, from His Christ, and supplanting our God with other things, including a very severe brand of nationalism mixed with churchianity.
