AP News: “A White House official says President Barack Obama will name former aide Samantha Power as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
Power will replace Susan Rice, who will take over as Obama’s national security adviser. The official says Obama will announce both appointments from the White House Wednesday afternoon.”
Opinion: Rounding out the most progressive-left/anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian administration in US history, Powers and Rice join Kerry, Brennan, Hagel and Lew.
Samantha Power: George Soros acolyte and wife of Cass Sunstein, former regulatory czar whom Glenn Beck called the most dangerous man in America, was largely responsible for the US debacle in Libya. Powers encouraged the Soros inspired Responsibility to Protect (R2P) policy that engaged the US in the UN coalition that led to an al-Qaeda take-over of Libya.
In addition to R2P, Power has shown to be rabidly ant-Israel and pro-Palestinian. Power has stated that Israel is not a genocidal power, but a “major human rights” abuser.
“I think, more than sacrificing—billions of dollars, not in servicing Israel’s military, but actually investing in the new state of Palestine, in investing the billions of dollars it would probably take, also, to support what will have to be a mammoth protection force, not of the old Rwanda kind, but a meaningful military presence. Because it seems to me at this stage (and this is true of actual genocides as well, and not just major human rights abuses, which were seen there), you have to go in as if you’re serious, you have to put something on the line.
Susan Rice: Breitbart reported this morning “National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, who is widely suspected of being the source of critical leaks from the White House, is resigning and will be replaced by UN Ambassador Susan Rice, who played a key role in misleading the American public about the Benghazi terror attack in Sep. 2012. The NSA post does not require Senate confirmation; Rice withdrew her candidacy as Secretary of State due to the difficulty of confirmation.”
