149 Dead So Far In Ramadan Attacks

The Daily Caller: Significant terrorist attacks have sprung up across the globe since the beginning of Muslim holy month of Ramadan May 26, with current counts confirming three attacks and 149 dead, and a reported Saturday incident on London Bridge still developing.

Islamist terrorist groups usually use the holiday to mount more significant terrorist attacks, and promise their followers extra benefits for dying in such attacks during the holy month. more …

Opinion: Politicians and pundits on the left say we must use tolerance and understanding to defeat Islamic terror. That one of the world’s great religions has been hijacked by a tiny percentage of radical jihadists.

Politicians on the right say we must name the enemy “Radical Islamic Terror” before we can defeat it with massive military force.

Both sides indicate: Islamic terror is a relatively new phenomena and that it can be defeated.

Bible prophecy teaches that terrorism began 3500 years ago as the Israelites, under the leadership of Moses, were attacked right after the Red Sea Crossing.

Excerpt: Antichrist: The Search for Amalek: After the Red Sea crossing and the drowning of the Egyptian army, the next attack on the Israelites came from a tribe called the Amalekites. Their leader was an illegitimate grandson of Esau named Amalek, who inherited his grandfather’s intense hatred (Gen. 27:41) for his brother Jacob. While the Egyptians failed to harm the Israelites, the Amalekites succeeded in doing so.

A literal reading of Scripture, which is where we lose most people, teaches that this Amalek so angered the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that He swore to have war with him in every generation (Exodus 17:16).

The Amalekites struck in London last night.

Over the next few days we will hear from politicians and terror experts from both sides of the aisle how we must eradicate, either extremism, or Islamic terror, depending on ideology.

They will both be wrong.

The great prophet Isaiah, who was quoted by Jesus more than any other prophet, prophesied the rebirth of Israel (Isa. 11:11, 66:7-8) that started the time clock to the second coming of Jesus Christ (Isa. 63:1-3).

Before His glorious return, Isaiah sees someone coming from Edom (Gen. 36:1), from Bozrah, the ancient capital of Edom, the prophet asks:

Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, This One who is glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength?—

The answer puts away any doubt as to His identity:

“I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”

Isaiah asks: Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

The answer is the only explanation for the end of terror:

“I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.”

Only then will Edom be destroyed.
