Breitbart: “The brutal, worldwide persecution of Christians during the past year makes 2015 “the most violent and sustained attack on Christian faith in modern history,” according to a watchdog organization that has been monitoring Christian persecution for decades.

Open Doors, an organization founded in 1955 to assist persecuted Christians, publishes an annual “World Watch List,” documenting attacks on Christians and ranking the most hostile national environments for believers.

“The 2016 World Watch List documents an unprecedented escalation of violence against Christians, making this past year the most violent and sustained attack on Christian faith in modern history,” Open Doors CEO David Curry said at the rollout of the list.

Persecution is “continuing to increase, intensify and spread across the globe.”

Opinion: I am continually surprised by post-Tribulation rapture: the teaching that Christians will be here for the tribulation, then raptured, and come back with Christ.

Major Bible teaching groups (names withheld) are teaching this view of the end times while at the same time, teach different views. It is not working.

The simple explanation is that post-trib believers confuse the difference between persecution and wrath.

Persecution:

Matthew 5:44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”

John 15:18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.

2 Timothy 3:12 “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.”

Wrath:

1 Thessalonians 1:10 “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.”

1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Revelation 3:10 “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.”

The key word in Revelation 3:10 is from, meaning away, from, or out of, in Greek.

Out of here sounds great.
