Today’s Post is from The Berean Call, a website and newsletter we’ve shared with you before.
The Berean Call was formed in 1985 by authors Dave Hunt and T. A. McMahon for the purpose of encouraging spiritual discernment among those who regarded themselves not just as “evangelicals” but as biblical Christians.
Behind every article is the exhortation to believers to get back into the Word of God instead of being “carried about by every wind of doctrine,” and to equip them with materials to help them walk in the truth.
“Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” Acts 17:10-11
Since Dave Hunt’s home-going in 2013, Tom and TBC staff members have continued to supply the articles and answers to questions in the newsletter.
