Algemeiner: “The French and US governments have both condemned Israeli plans to demolish illegally built Palestinian structures in the West Bank.
“France is deeply concerned by the accelerated pace of demolitions and confiscations of humanitarian structures that should benefit the Palestinian population living in Area C,” it added, AFP reported.
Meanwhile, the US State Department added that it was also concerned about Israeli plans to demolish the tiny Palestinian village of Susiya in the southern West Bank.”
Opinion: “And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24
The capital of Israel is Jerusalem. The Prime Minister and the Knesset, the seat of the governing body of Israel, are located in Jerusalem. And Jerusalem is still being trampled by Gentiles, for now.
The times of Gentile domination of Jerusalem began in 586 BC when the Babylonians took the city and its people into captivity and will conclude with the return of Jesus Christ.
In Luke’s Gospel, Jesus is speaking to the Jews in a dual prophecy. In Luke 21:20-24 Jesus is answering the disciples’ question as to when the temple would be destroyed.
The first fulfillment of the prophecy took place on Tisha B’Av in AD 70, when the Roman general Titus took the city, destroyed the temple and slaughtered over 1 million Jews.
And the final fulfillment of Gentile domination will happen late in the tribulation, just before the return of Jesus Christ to restore Jerusalem.
“For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled,
And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.” Zechariah 14:1-2
