Speaking in Parliament, she also said the attack showed “the importance of all of our faiths working together, and recognising the values that we share”.
Adding: “This act of terror was not an act of faith. It was a perversion; a warped ideology, which leads to an act of terrorism like that and it will not prevail.” more …
Opinion: There you go.
The left thinks that the world can end Islamic terror with understanding and tolerance. The right thinks it can end Islamic terror by smashing it to death.
I think they are both wrong.
If we are willing to accept the Bible as the literal word of God, we can find the origins of terror in two men. It began between 3500 to 4000 years ago with the birth of two children.
Both men were direct descendants of Abraham. The Apostle Paul described them like this:
“Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now” Galatians 4:28-29.
Two thousand years after Paul, even so it is now.
The son of promise was named Isaac – the son of the flesh was named Ishmael.
Ishmael was born to Abraham and his wife’s handmaiden Hagar, an Egyptian. Ishmael as the firstborn would be entitled to the deed to the promised land, but he and his mother became intolerable to Abraham’s wife, Sarah.
Ishmael and his mother were banished, and with that, the boy was left out of his father’s estate excluding him from any right to the land. In the desert he watched his mother in despair, explaining the prophecy that the Angel of the Lord gave to Hagar in Genesis 16:12
“He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man, And every man’s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.”
Ishmael is the father of Islam.
The son of Promise, Isaac, and his wife Rebekah had twin sons named Jacob and Esau. God changed Isaac’s name to Israel (Genesis 35:10) and He called Esau, Edom (Genesis 36:1).
Esau married from the surrounding Canaanite (Gentile) tribes even taking a daughter of Ishmael as a wife (Genesis 28:9). Esau begot Eliphaz who had a concubine named Timna. From that union, Amalek was born.
In our book Blood Feud (home page), we name Amalek the first terrorist. He carried out what Esau only dreamed of: drawing Jewish blood.
Amalek was in London on Wednesday.
It is that hatred that Theresa May either knows nothing about or refuses to know anything about. But then again Theresa May is no better off than those like Donald Trump, who believes he can smash and defeat Islamic terror.
To find out how terrorism ends read chapter 9 of Blood Feud.
