False Terminology and the Delegitimization of Israel

Jewish Press: In 2007, the BBC released an opinion poll conducted in 27 countries, in which the respondents were asked to rate 13 pre-selected countries as having either a positive or a negative role in the world.

Israel topped the list as the most negatively viewed country, followed by Iran and North Korea. In fact, out of all the countries in the poll, only the respondents from United States and Nigeria had a positive view of Israel (Nigerians, bizarrely, also viewed North Korea positively).

Not surprisingly, large majorities within Muslim countries saw Israel as having a negative influence in the world. More surprising, however, was that also in Europe (including Israel’s supposed allies, such as the UK or Germany), Israel was viewed negatively by a large margin, with only 17% of Britons, 10% of Germans, 7% of Poles and 6% of Hungarians viewing it in a positive light. more …

Opinion: The world, and especially Europe, learned nothing from history. That Israel is viewed so negatively in the backyard of the Holocaust is further evidence that it will happen again, with a new and even more evil Hitler.

This one will come in like the last one, in a time of great trouble, as the European Union breaks up into 10 divisions (Daniel 9:24) a man on a white horse (Revelation 6:1-2) with all the answers to Europe’s problems will ride in to save the day.

An example of the antichrist’s spirit of deceptiveness took place in the early career of Adolf Hitler. In 1935, Winston Churchill wrote an assessment of the new German leader, Adolf Hitler:

“He might yet go down in history as the man who restored honour and peace of mind to the great Germanic nation and brought it back serene, helpful and strong, to the forefront of the European family circle.

He will speak of peace (Rev. 6:1-2), and modify a previously drafted plan for the Israeli/Arab problem as the world falls at his feet. But his intention will be to draw the Jews in by building them a temple (Daniel 9:27) and then turn on them when he is rejected as Messiah.

He will suffer a mortal head wound (Revelation 13:3-4). Satan will enter the man and stage a false resurrection and since the church of Jesus Christ will be gone (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) there will be no one to point him out.

It’s crazy really, the whole murderous rampage has been written down in great detail in the books of Daniel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, 2 Thessalonians, and Revelation and yet in most Christian churches he is barely mentioned.

I believe he is on earth today. Scripture teaches that the generation that witnesses the rebirth of Israel (Matthew 24:32-34), which occurred on May 14, 1948 will see end time prophecy fulfilled.
