PMW: The Palestinian Authority continues to incite violence. Following yesterday’s visit by Israeli leaders to Hebron, the PA is now saying that Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s presence there was an act of “obvious war” and that he “defiled” the city:
This hate speech and these messages of incitement to violence from the PA are continuing. more …
Opinion: According to tradition, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, with their wives Sarah, Rebekah, and Leah, were buried in the cave.
On September 28, 2000, Ariel Sharon, Israel’s Prime Minister along with a small group of legislators and several hundred armed security guards walked on to the Temple Mount. After Sharon left the compound, Palestinian rioters began hurling stones and other projectiles in the direction of Jewish worshipers at the Western Wall. Rarely has it been more accurately said that hell broke loose ending the flawed Oslo peace process.
Last Wednesday September 4, PM Netanyahu made a speech in the tomb of the Jewish Patriarchs that may touch off another round of bloody violence. The world has bought the lie that the Cave of Machpelah is an Arab Palestinian site:
“The [PA] Ministry of Religious Affairs emphasized that [Israeli] occupation Prime Minister [Benjamin Netanyahu]’s defilement of Hebron and the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs) is nothing but obvious war, in which he has declared his blatant hatred towards the Palestinian presence in Hebron and the Ibrahimi Mosque, which is a purely Islamic mosque.”
How can it be that all this mayhem happens despite the Biblical record found in Genesis 23:1-9?
“Sarah lived to be 127 years old. 2 She died in Hebron in the land of Canaan, and Abraham mourned her death.
3 He left the place where his wife’s body was lying, went to the Hittites, and said, 4 “I am a foreigner living here among you; sell me some land, so that I can bury my wife.”
5 They answered, 6 “Listen to us, sir. We look upon you as a mighty leader; bury your wife in the best grave that we have. Any of us would be glad to give you a grave, so that you can bury her.”
7 Then Abraham bowed before them 8 and said, “If you are willing to let me bury my wife here, please ask Ephron son of Zohar 9 to sell me Machpelah Cave, which is near the edge of his field. Ask him to sell it to me for its full price, here in your presence, so that I can own it as a burial ground.”
Muslims claim it was Ishmael who Abraham took to sacrifice at Mount Moriah. They claim Ishmael, Abraham’s son of disobedience, as the father of Islam despite Ishmael’s death having taken place over 2000 years before Mohammad began selling his new religion to the Jews of Arabia (more).
The pandemonium at the Cave at Machpelah could be paving the road to the prophetic war found in Psalm 83.
