FDA: Thousands of Deaths Linked to Puberty Blockers

Breitbart: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has documented thousands of deaths linked to the puberty-blocking drugs now increasingly given to children who suffer from gender dysphoria or claim to be “transgender.”

Between 2013 and June 2019, FDA recorded 41,213 adverse events, including 6,379 deaths and 25,645 “serious” reactions in patients who took the hormone blocker known as Lupron — the same drug given to children who say their gender identity is not consistent with their biological sex.

Leuprolide Acetate, known as Lupron, is clinically approved for treatment of prostate cancer in men, endometriosis in women, and, for a short period of time, “precocious puberty” — a condition in which children begin puberty at a significantly younger age than is considered normal. more …

Opinion: That progressives would feed their children dangerous drugs reminds me of a time when one of our boys was exhibiting a problem with being hyperactive. Junior’s personality was affecting his school work and behavior with the family. Keep in mind our son was 10 years old at the time.

My wife found a local Christian psychologist with a great reputation and excellent references. We went in and explained our situation and then the doctor read a list of traits that amazingly fit our son to a T.

After much discussion, we were told that he needed medication. A prescription for hyper-active kids was prescribed and we went home. Within three days my wife noticed a change in Junior that she didn’t like one bit. Facial tics. I was traveling quite a lot at the time and I remember a rather panicked phone call telling me that he would no longer be taking that med, period! And we would deal with his behavior in another way, with love, patience, consequences, organizational tools, exercise, and lots of prayer.

Today Junior is an executive with a national sales company with over a thousand direct reports. All we can do is pray for these children of progressive nut-jobs.

  1. Good for Junior. What’s hard to understand when dealing with a child who has a hyperactive mind is that they have a gift. It may sound counterintuitive when you see their grades suffering but that’s simply the adaptive phase of learning how to deal with their gift. What do I mean by gift? Have you ever tried snow skiing before? Now, have you ever tried snow skiing with rockets on your skis? Same concept with a hyperactive mind.

Doctors are medicating away a gift.
