Daily Mail: U.S. forces only have permission to transit through Iraq, the military said today:
- It contradicts Washington’s claims that troops would stay in Iraq to fight ISIS
- Donald Trump ordered troops out of Syria, paving the way for Turkey’s attack
- Erdogan is preparing to resume the Turkish attack when a ceasefire ends today
- Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad vowed to defeat jihadists in north-western Syria more …
Opinion: Regardless of the outcome, the hasty decision by the US president to leave Syria and the Kurds who supported the US against ISIS in the hands of Recep Erdogan is backfiring. But from a prophetic view, it fits like a glove.
The final wars before the tribulation Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38, are in God’s hands and He needs no help.
How interesting that the Psalm 83 nations after 3000 years are still trying to kill the Jewish people. The prophecy was all but forgotten for over 1800 years because there was no state of Israel and the Jews were scattered all over the world. It was only in 1948 that prophecy scholars began to dust off the ancient texts and Psalm 83 became a real threat.
The prophet Asaph (Hebrew seer) named every nation in the attack by their ancient name which thanks to today’s search engines, are a snap to find who they are today.
Ezekiel’s prophecy of a Russian-led invasion was equally remote. Why would a Russian leader want to invade a dry deserted rocky barren wasteland with no oil? Golda Meir’s famous quote about Israel comes to mind:
“Let me tell you something that we Israelis have against Moses. He took us 40 years through the desert in order to bring us to the one spot in the Middle East that has no oil!”
Think abut that. There was no Israel since 70 AD when the 2nd temple was destroyed and the Jews were scattered to the 4 corners of the earth. Even Hebrew became a dead language.
But in 1880 a stirring happened. In 1881, the rightful owners of the land of promise began to return. Eliezer Ben‑Yehuda believed it was important for the Jewish people to have their own language if they were to have their own land: “In order to have our own land and political life… we must have a Hebrew language in which we can conduct the business of life.”
The first aliyah of Jews back to the land was when Hebrew was once again spoken, in preparation for Israel’s prophesied rebirth (in 1 day) on May 14, 1948 (Isaiah 66:7-8). The Hebrew language will be necessary for the high priest when the third temple is built.
Still, a Russian/Iranian/Turkish invasion was far off, until now. Israel’s dynamic Middle East democracy is one of the most powerful in the world and has one of the biggest natural gas reserves in the world that is a threat to Russia’s economy.
Yesterday, Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Vladimir Putin to restart the invasion of Syria, while Israel’s iconic leader, Benjamin Netanyahu who no doubt understands what the prophecy says, may be replaced by a secular leader.
