The National Women’s Law Center launched a new PR campaign this month claiming that abortions “actually” are an act of love and compassion. The “Abortion Actually” campaign uses flowery images and virtuous language to hide the ugliness, the violence of killing a baby in the womb.
The campaign goal is to “fight back against the assault on abortion rights in our country” by reframing the conversation about abortion, according to Christian Headlines.
“Abortion – and the people who have them – have been called a lot of things. But what is abortion actually? An act of love. An act of compassion. An act of healing. An act of selflessness,” the pro-abortion group’s website states.
“At its core,” the act of killing of an unborn baby is “an act of love, compassion, healing and selflessness,” the campaign claims. “It’s health care. It’s freedom.” more …
Opinion: Oprah magazine article July 2018:
“Shout Your Abortion”
“Anti-choice politicians have dominated the dialogue because many people think they don’t know anyone who’s had an abortion. But nearly one in four women has, and 95 percent have reported feeling that it was the right decision. The anti-choice movement wants it to be terrifying to speak the truth, because we can’t advocate for something we can’t say out loud. But the more of us who speak out, the clearer it becomes that all sorts of people have abortions, including people you love.” – Amelia Bonow
According to “O” magazine’s media kit, her publication “reaches 1 in 13 women in America,” has ten million readers, two million social media followers and another four million unique visitors to its website version.

The descent into darkness continues. I cannot imagine what evil will be accepted once the Holy Spirit and the church He indwells is removed from the earth:
And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed” 2 Thess. 2:6-8.
When He goes, we go (1 Thess. 4:16-18).
