WND: BIBLE scholars have sensationally claimed the end of the world could be upon us as they believe the Four Horsemen, who bring about death, war, famine and disease before the return of Jesus Christ in the holy book, have all been released.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse appear in the Book of Revelation, where they are named as a punishment of God, but some believe they are an analogy of real-life events to come in the future. Revelation 6 tells of a scroll in God’s right hand that is secured with seven seals, which, when opened, summons four beings that ride out on white, black, red and pale horses to bring about death, war, famine and plague.
It states: “They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” Read More …
Opinion: I have come across very few people whom I would consider to be Bible scholars.
In order of who I found first: Hal Lindsey (Late Great Planet Earth), the late Dr. Tim LaHaye, the late Grant Jeffrey, my late friend Jack Kinsella (Omega Letter), the late Clarence Larkin, Dr. Jimmy DeYoung (Prophecy Today), the late Dr.John Walvoord, the late Jack Kelley (GracethruFaith).
The headline “‘Four Horsemen are ACTIVE’: Bible scholars claim Revelation seals broken” is essentially saying the 7 year tribulation has begun.
If that were true, the Church of Jesus Christ would have vanished (1 Thess. 1:10, 5:9, 4:16-17; 1 Cor. 15:51-52; Rev. 3:10)
If that were true, a false peace treaty between Israel and her enemies would have been confirmed by a world leader (Daniel 9:27).
If that were true, the Edomites of Judea and Samaria and Gaza would be a defeated people group and not making any trouble (Psalm 83:8-18).
If that were true, the war of Gog and Magog would be completed or in the final stages (Ezekiel 38-39).
And if that were true, millions of Jews would be making their way back to the promised land (Ezekiel 39:28).
But since none of that has happened, let’s take a look at how the Bible says it will happen:
Rapture of the church to meet Christ in the air (1 Thess. 4:16-17)
- Withe Horse, Rev 6:1-2 – False christ comes in peace, but to conquer
- Red Horse, Rev. 6:3-4 – takes peace from the earth
- Black Horse, Rev 6:5-6 – Economic collapse
- Pale Horse, Rev. 6:7-8 – Pandemic brings death to 25% of the population
