Globalism (as of January 2016)

The three drivers of society that are moving us toward an organized and unified governance of Western nations revolve around politics, global economies and the Arab-Israeli perpetual turmoil engulfing the oil-rich Middle East.

Initially named the new world order by President George H.W. Bush in 1991, and again in a 2012 quote by former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger “Obama would create a new world order”, a globalist agenda is advancing at a rapid pace.

Prominent Christian Bible prophecy scholars interpret these developments as a sign of the End of the Age as quoted by Jesus in Matthew 24.

Politics, when viewed globally, shows a definite shift towards progressive liberalism. In a January 1, 2016 CNBC article titled “Say Hello to the New World Leaders” lists three progressive leaders who had come to power in 2015:

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras leader of the left-wing, anti-austerity party, put an end to the three-year coalition led by center-right New Democracy leader Antonis Samaras.

Canada’s prime minister-elect Justin Trudeau, leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. won a surprising political victory in October that marked a backlash against Evangelical Conservative leader Stephen Harper’s pro-austerity measures, tax cuts and unyielding support for Canada’s energy sector.

Portugal’s new socialist leader and former Lisbon Mayor, Prime Minister Antonio Costa, has pledged to ease tax burdens, raise the minimum wage, restore government employee salaries, reverse cuts to public services and lift the country’s freeze on pensions. http://www.cnbc.com/2016/01/01/say-hello-to-the-new-world-leaders.html

The Global Economy turned east when on November 30, 2015 Bloomberg News reported “IMF Approves Reserve Currency Status for China’s Yuan”.

By adding the yuan to its basket of reserve currencies called Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), the IMF gave an international stamp of approval to China’s global economic system that has been dominated for decades by the U.S., Europe, and Japan. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-11-30/imf-backs-yuan-in-reserve-currency-club-after-rejection-in-2010

Middle East Politics have been, and are, a dilemma for every sitting US President since Harry Truman supported Israel’s statehood on May 14, 1948.

On October 8, 2015 Globes (.com) stunned the world with the headline “Huge Oil Discovery Discovered on Golan Heights” one of the most contested pieces of real estate in the world. https://prophecytracker.org/2015/10/huge-oil-discovery-on-golan-heights/
