Arutz Shev: “Al-Aqsa imam and Supreme Muslim Council Head Sheikh Ekrima Sa’id Sabri attacked in his weekly sermon in Al-Aqsa US President-elect Donald Trump after Trump promised to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
According to Maor Tzemach’s translation of the Arab news site Palestine Information Center, in his sermon on Friday, Sabri said “moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem is a statement and a declaration of war against Arabs and Muslims.”
Opinion: The left is going bonkers over the embassy as evidenced by New York Times columnist Thomas Freidman:
“Now, moving the American embassy — this is an evergreen. Everyone running for president tosses this out. No one actually does it. Moving the American embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv in the absence of an agreed upon solution between Israelis and Palestinians, I would call that ‘the full employment for Iran act’ because I can tell you, the Iranians, they would be clinking glasses over that.”
Progressive-left Jewish advocacy group J Street:
“J Street is vehemently opposed to the nomination of David Friedman to be Ambassador to Israel,” the organization’s president Jeremy Ben Ami said in a statement. “This nomination is reckless, putting America’s reputation in the region and credibility around the world at risk.”
The Bible does not indicate an Israeli/Iranian war until Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38:1-6). But according to Ez. 38:8, before that war, Israel will be living in a false peace after being brought back from the sword (Hebrew for war).
An Israeli victory over an Iranian-funded proxy war led by Hamas (Edom) and Hezbollah (inhabitants of Tyre – Lebanon) would give Israel a sense of false peace.
