An Ungrateful Nation Turns Its Back On Fracking

Investors Op-Ed: “The benefits of “fracking” have never been greater. Prices are lower and the country is emitting less CO2. Yet most people now oppose fracking. What gives?

A Gallup poll taken in early March shows that 51% of Americans say they oppose fracking “as a means of increasing production of natural gas and oil in the U.S.” That’s up from 40% just one year ago.

Even more surprising, the drop in overall support is largely the result of a shift among Republicans. While 66% supported fracking last year, a bare majority (55%) do now. Support was steady among independents (35% vs. 34%) and Democrats (26% vs 25%).”

Opinion: It was too good to be true: USA, the #1 energy producer in the world.

Bernie and Hillary want it stopped immediately and the high priest of climate change, Al Gore, said this:

“We cannot continue to allow the fossil fuel industry or any industry to treat our atmosphere like an open sewer or mislead the public about the impact they have on the health of our people and the health of our planet.”

In one of our favorite posts of 2014, a group of climate worshipers boarded a ship to head to Antarctica to show how much the ice had melted. Lo and behold the ship got stuck in the ice:

stuck

“We’re stuck in our own experiment,” the Australasian Antarctic Expedition said in a statement. “We came to Antarctica to study how one of the biggest icebergs in the world has altered the system by trapping ice. We … are now ourselves trapped by ice surrounding our ship.”

So, a second ship was sent out to the rescue and wouldn’t ya just know, it got stuck in the ice as well.

The deception continues, so get ready for $4 gasoline.
