Opinion: During the Obama years I used to get regular phone calls from liberal friends and relatives. No more. One even missed my birthday for the first time in many years.
I call that the Trump Effect as well.
We had in Barack Obama one of the the world’s most accomplished public speakers. Obama had great eye contact and was eloquent even when lying:
Donald Trump, on the other hand is not an accomplished speaker, and sometimes loses it completely:
But Donald Trump is doing what Obama never even tried to do – grow the US economy, strengthen the US military, close the US border, halt the flow of immigrants from terror nations, get the US out of the Trans Pacific Partnership, tear up 900 job-killing regulations and exit the Paris Climate Accords.
It that’s not enough for 1 year’s work, Donald Trump brought blessing on the United States under the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12:3) by declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel.
He isn’t doing it pretty, but Editor and I are grateful.
