JPost: ISIS is still active in a swath of territory that stretches from the Sahel in Africa all the way to the Philippines. It exploits ungoverned spaces, weak governments and ill-defended borders to percolate among existing extremist groups that have sworn allegiance to it.

These include Boko Haram in Nigeria, an ISIS affiliate in Niger that killed four US soldiers last year, “Sinai Province” in Sinai, the Khalid bin al-Walid faction in Syria next to the Golan, increasingly deadly fighters in Afghanistan and other affiliates throughout the world.

In testimony to the House Armed Services Committee in May 2017, Gen. Raymond Thomas, OC United States Special Operations Command, said 8,000 US special operators were deployed in 80 countries around the world. Some of them are involved in anti-ISIS operations or helping countries train to fight extremists.

This massive footprint of fighting enemies who transit porous borders everywhere in the world appears to be the future model of the never-ending war on ISIS, and the broader never-ending war on terrorism. If one ISIS cell is defeated, another appears. more …

Opinion: Bingo. It’s not about ISIS or al Qaeda, or Hamas or Hezbollah or Boko Haram or any of the thousands of splinter groups springing up daily. And it’s not never ending.

It’s about a hatred that sprang from a family feud that began so long ago that few care to connect the dots. The video that Editor and I have posted on our home page has been poorly received on Facebook which is disappointing because the conclusion is biblically supported.

Edom will NOT be defeated until Jesus Christ returns Isa. 53:1-3; Rev. 19:16-18. The Second Coming is NOT about us since the church will have dwelt in the New Jerusalem since before the tribulation even begins (Rom. 5:9; 1 Thess. 1:10, 5:9)

Jesus said He was going to prepare a place for us (John 14:1-3). He said He would keep us from the hour of trial (Revelation 3:10), and He said we would be where He is.

The time of Jacob’s trouble (Jer. 30:7) followed by the second coming, is all about bringing a remnant of Jews to salvation through belief in Jesus Christ.

“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn” Zechariah 12:12

Most amillennial post-tribulation Christians refuse to believe that, preferring instead to think the time of Jacob’s trouble is about the church!

We have used the whack-a-mole analogy often concerning terror groups, but when Christians are stuck in Replacement or Covenant Theologies, the promises made to Abraham are completely forgotten and anti-Semitism runs wild.

How else could anyone completely miss God’s plan?
