Breitbart: The General Synod of the Church of England has voted to ‘welcome transgender people’ by considering preparing a church service as a way to “mark a person’s gender transition”.
The official church of the United Kingdom voted four to one in favour amongst the Clergy and more than two to one amongst the Laity (members who are not Clergy) at the four-day Synod, the motion reading:
“That this Synod, recognising the need for transgender people to be welcomed and affirmed in their parish church, call on the House of Bishops to consider whether some nationally commended liturgical materials might be prepared to mark a person’s gender transition. more …
Opinion: In case anyone believes that the fruit of the Obama years is dissipating:
New American July 7, 2017: “The strange and bubbling caldron of PC and cultural terminology has taken a bizarre new turn with the news that what was once called “sex change” and then “gender re-assignment” surgery is now increasingly being referred to in “transgender” circles as “gender confirmation.”
Political correctness by the secular progressive left has completely replaced Biblical correctness. Paul’s second letter to Timothy addressed what would take place in the last days:
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5
The Church of England’s form of godliness, like so many denominations in the United States, has given way to what Paul called itching ears, 2 Timothy 4:3-4:
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”
