Clergy bless one of the only U.S. clinics performing late-term abortions

Washington Post: When clergy gather at an abortion clinic, it’s usually in protest, outside the building.

Rarely are they huddled inside the clinic, not to condemn, but to bless the procedures that happen there.

Yet that was the Rev. Carlton Veazey’s task as he led a prayer in Bethesda on Monday. “God of grace and God of glory, in whom we move and live,” he said, as he opened a prayer for the well-being of the doctor and nurses who facilitate abortions at a clinic here and for their patients. “Keep them safe and keep them strong. And may they always know that all that they do is for Thy glory.” more …

Opinion: Point 1: “And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.” 1 Timothy 2:12.

However, Acts 18:26 in no way states that women cannot teach or learn:

“So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.”

Point 2: Rev. Cari Jackson and the Rev. Barbara Gerlach, are ordained ministers from the United Church of Christ, a replacement theology liberal church that teaches God is finished with the Jew and He transferred all blessings from Israel to the church.

Point 3: That progressive liberalism has so affected major denominations that abortion, same-sex marriage, and transgenderism are being praised and embraced is evidence that the 7th church of Revelation 3:14-22 is being made ready:

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.  So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”

There is only one Person standing in the way:

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”  2 Thessalonians 2:7
