Washington Examiner: A building network of backwoods doomsday camps around the country are pulling in members from affluent areas and even Washington national security officials as the threats grow from nuclear war, an EMP or virus attack.
Called Fortitude Ranch, the outposts promise protection and a year’s supply of food for those unable to build their own bunker. What’s more, until a crisis strikes, they are being used for prepper training and vacations.
“We’re seeing members from all the three letter agencies,” said Fortitude creator Drew Miller, a retired Air Force colonel and intelligence officer, in a reference to the Central Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
He called an attack or even a weather-related electromagnetic pulse shutdown of the electric grid “inevitable,” and a driving force in his project. more …
Opinion: Government elites and the super rich are correct. The world is speeding towards the final wars of this age:
- We had a report that the super wealthy are storing jump drives loaded with Bitcoin in Swiss banks.
- We had a report that the super wealthy are buying large tracks of land with multi million dollar bunkers.
- We had a report that the government is re-opening Cheyenne Mountain that could house 6000 government officials
- And now we have bunkers for government employees.
If all that isn’t apocalyptic enough, those who can afford it can purchase cryptocurrency tokens to get a discount price on ‘Fortitude Ranch’ membership so more people can survive a societal collapse.
Are Christians being told to prepare for doomsday by buying lots of stuff or joining a survival ranch?
Not according to the Apostle Paul:
- 1 Thess. 1:10
- 1 Thess. 5:9
- Rom. 5:9
Or Jesus Himself: “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.” Rev. 3:10
Our survival is guaranteed in a far better place than Fortitude Ranch (1 Thess. 4:16-18).
