Arutz Sheva: “The European Union issued a statement late Thursday condemning Israel’s decision the previous day to approve the construction of over 460 new Israeli homes over the Green Line, calling it “a serious concern.
“The Israeli decision yesterday to endorse an additional 463 housing units in the occupied West Bank and to retroactively approve 179 existing units is a serious concern,” the EU statement read.
“Since January 2016, Israeli authorities have promoted or retroactively legalized 2,706 units in West Bank settlements,” it added.
Opinion: Israel building houses for its people is a precursor of Isaiah 65:21-22. The prophet gives a glimpse of what will be happening in Israel during the millennial reign of Christ, and clears up the debate in the churches as to who the elect are:
“They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat;
For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.”
In the next and last chapter of Isaiah 66:7-8, we find the prophecy of Israel’s rebirth in 1 day …
“Before she was in labor, she gave birth; Before her pain came, She delivered a male child. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.” Isaiah 66:7-8
… which is exactly how it happened on May 14, 1948.
