Breitbart: “Gaffney said the most surprising thing about the latest round of terror attacks is that “we continue to see people in positions of authority – whether it’s Angela Merkel, or whether it’s police authorities, or whether it’s folks assessing the situation on this side of the pond – who scratch their heads and try to figure out what could have motivated someone to do these sorts of heinous attacks, or sort of balk at the idea that it’s actually jihadism, and refrain from calling it that.”
Opinion: Frank Gaffney is a really smart guy, but his post speaks more about people who don’t get the causes of terrorism while failing to mention what the root causes of jihadi massacres are.
The enmity between Arab and Jew began in Abraham’s own family. The promised son, Isaac and his wife Rebecca had twin sons. The trouble started in Rebecca’s womb:
Genesis 25:23: And the Lord said to her:
“Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”
See that? Moses called them two peoples, not brothers. And the older, Esau, who would normally be the main beneficiary of his father’s estate, would instead have to serve his brother.
Sounds incredible, doesn’t it? Most of the descendants of these two peoples have long forgotten what started the feud. In fact so many other peoples have joined in, that it is hard to separate who is against whom.
Excerpt from Bible Hub:
We may consider ESAU AS THE TYPE OF THE SELF-CONFIDENT. Lifted up, dwelling amongst the stars, wise in his own eyes, he knows not his perilous condition.
In the next place, we may consider ESAU AS THE TYPE OF THE WORLDLY. We know how the first of the race bartered his birthright for a mess of pottage. And the race yet lives.
In the next place, we may consider ESAU AS THE TYPE OF THE UNSYMPATHIZING AND CRUEL. In Obadiah 1:10 the prophet says, “For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off forever.” This unsympathizing, hard-hearted, cruel spirit is directly opposite to that of Christ.
Esau’s descendants are on a mission to do what their patriarch intended to do 3500 years ago: kill Jacob (Genesis 27:41) Anyone who gets in the way, especially those buying Christmas trees, must die as well.
Don’t tell anyone, they will think you are nuts … believe me.
