University of Durham (UK): Following seven years of work, the first ‘Agreed Statement’ (a 68-page document) to emerge from ARCIC III, Walking Together on the Way: Learning to Be the Church – Local, Regional, Universal, has gone live. It can be read here.
In addition to the document itself, there is also an excellent Official Commentary on the document available on the website of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, written by the highly-regarded Australian theologian, Orm Rush – see here.

Opinion: Mike Gendron, Proclaiming the Gospel (September 2018): “The Church of England is about to surrender to the primacy of Rome! It is hard to fathom why senior figures in the Anglican movement should want to hand over power to the Pope. Pope Francis is the first Jesuit pope. Since their founding in 1540, the purpose of Jesuits is to unite all religions under the authority of Rome. Biblical Christianity is quickly being branded as non-inclusive and outdated with regard to abortion, same-sex marriage and adherence to the literal prophetic word of God. The 7th and final church of this age (Laodicea, Revelation 3:14-22) is accommodating the new liberalism in several Protestant denominations, and one by one we can expect them to fall in line with Pontifex Maximus, the Bishop of Rome.
Francis’ anti-Biblical teaching and a new UN super president, could be just the ticket to a government-accepted global church.
