The Times of Israel: “French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault warned Sunday that moving the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would result in extremely serious consequences.
“When you are president of the United States, you cannot take such a stubborn and such a unilateral view on this issue. You have to try to create the conditions for peace,” Ayrault said.”
Opinion: When the topic is peace in Israel the logic of men is wrong every time. Serious consequences will come if the embassy is not moved and Jerusalem is divided.
After 9000 blog posts and a soon to be completed second book on the subject, it can be distilled down to this: Israel is God’s land. It was given to Abraham and his descendants after him as an everlasting and forever covenant. The land would pass to Abraham’s sons Isaac and then Jacob (whom God named Israel). At no time did God say that either Ishmael or Esau would inherit the land, and here is the clincher:
God warned that whosoever divides His land will face His judgment
And that is precisely what 70 nations tried but failed to do in Paris yesterday. The spectacle involved Biblically ignorant men pandering to the descendants of Ishmael and Esau, who have a 4000-year-old blood feud against God’s clear and well-documented will.
Don’t believe it? Read Genesis 12:1-3, 15:18-21, 16:12, 17:7-8; 22:2, 35:10; Joel 3:1-3; Malachi 1:1-3, and then read Jeremiah 31:35-36 to get a clear picture of how God feels about the matter.
