Zero Hedge: The spread of global cash bans continues with Greece unveiling their so-called ‘soft’ approach by which taxpayers will only be granted tax-allowances or deductions when payments are made via credit or debit cards.
The new guidelines refer to employees, pensioners, farmers, and also the unemployed.
In its “wisdom” the Greek Finance Ministry has determined the amount the taxpayers will have to pay with electronic money in order to be able to get the tax allowance.
Opinion: Out of left field. I had to read this post several times and I am still a bit confused.
Greek citizens will have to make payments for everyday expenses like food, doctor visits, hair salons, utility bills etc. in credit/debit cards in order to be eligible to receive deductions from a very complex income-tax system.
“In the bizarre Greek world we live in, households will be obliged to spend money even if they do not want to. As the large part of monthly need coverage (utilities etc.) is not accepted by the tax office, households who do not manage to reach the necessary percentage through supermarket percentages will have to go and spend like crazy in retail, dance schools and gyms and other goods and service providers.”
Once again it is the middle class who will take it on the chin, whereas the wealthy, as in Revelation 6:5-6, will barely feel the effects ‘do not hurt the oil and wine’.
Europe is an economic disaster. Socialism has so eroded the value of money that mandatory spending, with credit/debit cards is necessary to keep the economy afloat.
So what happens when families can’t spend? Why they can just follow Finland who is announcing a radical experiment by giving 2,000 citizens a guaranteed $587.00 per month, tax free, with funds that keep flowing whether participants work or not.
The program is called “National Basic Income” and has been under consideration in Switzerland and Sweden. It will be guaranteed regardless of income, wealth or employment status.
Once government has its citizens under an allowance and eliminates the black market by banning cash it is a short jump to total control of buying and selling (Revelation 13:16-17).
