Last Thursday I underwent open-heart surgery and temporarily closed the blog for the first time. My strength is coming back slowly but surely, and I will try to resume our regular schedule on Monday.
Before leaving for the operation, as has been my habit for decades, I wrote on three post-its Bible verses to keep with me for fortification. I want to share one of them with you that best described my hope that morning …
“He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
He drew me out of deep waters.
He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
from my foes, who were too strong for me.
They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
but the Lord was my support.
He brought me out into a spacious place;
He rescued me because He delighted in me.” 2 Samuel 22:16-20
I want to thank so many of you who have been coming to this site for years and offered prayers for my wife and me. Her job really got more difficult when I came home.
It’s good indeed to have you back with us. The Body of Christ is in dire need of people with the gifting granted you.
My household praises God for your survival and prays for your continued recovery. Thank you, Ron, for all your work to open the eyes of Christ’s Body. Some of us no longer walk blindly but are aware of the deeper significance of events around us and are preparing ourselves for His second coming.
Our greetings to ~Lalli and your family. Today they must be rejoicing. We rejoice with them!
i’m praying for your full healing. Here is a great healing prayer, just come into agreement with it. Maranatha! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3rmvdpZvrA&list=PLgcRkGH239u_ciUu87Hfbry5U8e643mh9&index=1
I stand in full agreement with this prayer and thank you for sending it to us.
