High Priest is Chosen by Sanhedrin, Temple Service Could Be One Week Away

BIN News: “A significant step was recently taken towards reinstating the Temple service when the nascent Sanhedrin selected Rabbi Baruch Kahane as the next Kohen Gadol (high priest). The selection was made as a precaution for Yom Kippur. If the political conditions should change, allowing the Jews access to the Temple Mount, they will be required by Torah law to bring the sacrifices.

Rabbi Kahane is confident that if that should happen, Temple service could begin in less than one week.

This year has already seen much Temple-oriented activity: the Temple Institute has created a registry of kohanim; established a school for educating men of the priestly class in the details of the Temple service; and performed reenactments on all the holidays, including the especially significant Passover sacrifice.”

Opinion: Most Jews think it will never happen. Most Christians are reviled at the thought. But a third temple, complete with a High Priest and animal sacrifices, will happen precisely as prophesied in the Bible (Ez. 37:26; Mic. 4:1-7; Zech. 6:12; Mat: 24:15; 2 Thess. 2:3-4; Rev. 11:1-2).

At the end of the victory of the war of Gog and Magog, Jews will know that only God Himself could arrange such a miracle.

Israel will be victorious against a Russian, Turkey, Iranian and north African confederation without having to do a thing (Ezek. 38:18-23).

Sometime before the end of this war, the Church will be taken – 2 Thess. 4:16-18.

After the dead are buried (Ezek. 39:12), Jews from all over the world will have no doubt as to how the war was won:So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day forward” (Ezekiel 39:22), and it will be time to make their way to the land promised to their fathers (Genesis 17:7-8).

The Jews will come back to covenant relationship with God. And God will bring them home:

“then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer.” (Ezekiel 39:28).

They will not recognize Jesus until late in the tribulation (Zech. 12:10), but they will, for a short time, be appeased by a dynamic new leader that made the third temple a reality.

After the temple is built and animal sacrifice reinstated, this new leader will have assuaged the concerns of what is left of the Arab world after two wars: Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39.

It will be in the 42nd month of this new leader’s administration, that sacrifice will be taken away, the new world leader will demand worship as god, and all hell will break loose on earth.
