An Inconvenient Truth For Al Gore: The Ice Is Still There

Zero Hedge: Former Vice President Al Gore made a ruckus at the COP15 climate conference in December 2009 when he said that “some of the models say that there is a 75% chance that Arctic sea ice could be completely gone during part of the summer in only five to seven years.”

Now, nine years later, the ice is still there, just like the moderate scientists predicted.

It wasn’t just this prophesy that failed abysmally. The legacy media has not reported on it, but most alarmist predictions have failed. The earth did not warm significantly in the last two decades, a phenomenon that scientists refer to as the “pause” or “hiatus” in warming, and the weather has not been getting more extreme. more …

Opinion: Progressive politicians want control over every aspect of life beginning with climate regulation and wealth redistribution, two staples of the Obama administration.

Now add in universal health care, gun control, open borders, and a cashless society and the world is ready for the dictator who will make a peace treaty in the Middle East (Daniel 9:27).

What is startling is how close we came to every single item on that list except the peace treaty. Israel knew better than to trust Barack Obama. And what is even more startling is that one day, maybe very soon a leader will make it all happen.

In Daniel 2 the prophet interpreted a dream of Nebuchadnezzar of a  statue depicting 4 empires:

  • Head of gold: Babylon
  • Chest and arms: Medo-Persia
  • Belly and thighs: Greece (Alexander)
  • Legs of iron: Rome/Constantinople
  • Feet and toes: first view of revived Rome

(Rome and revived Rome are considered 1 empire or kingdom since Rome had no definitive end and is prophesied to be revived in the last days)

Are Britain and America left out of Daniel’s List of Empires?

  • Britain – Established Palestine as a homeland for Jews in 1917
  • America – first to recognize Israel’s rebirth and has been Israel’s chief protector

Daniel 7:2-7 introduces 4 kingdoms in the form of four beasts coming up out of the sea (the people of earth). An interesting teaching aligns these 4 beasts with the participants of Gog and Magog war (Ezekiel 39-39).

First Beast: Dan. 7:4 – Lion (symbol for Britain) with eagle’s wings (symbol for America) – standing on two feet with its wings plucked, represents Britain, America and colonies that had lost their power and question the second beast as to why it is attacking Israel, Ezek. 38:13

Second BeastDan. 7:5 – Bear (symbol for Russia) on its side with three ribs in its mouth which represent Russia (Magog), Iran (Persia), Turkey (Gomer) who are in league to attack Israel to take plunder, Ezek. 38:1-6.

Third Beast: Dan. 7:6 – Leopard with four wings represents a four nation African coalition represented in Ezekiel 38:5 NIV as the nations of Cush (Ethiopia, Sudan, and Somalia) and Puht (Libya), Ezek. 38:1-6.

Fourth Beast: Revived Rome was first introduced in Dan. 2:40. But now, in Daniel 7:7, the prophet tells of the final Gentile world kingdom of revived Rome. A beast so wicked there is no animal comparison, trampling the residue (earth) with its feet.

The empires of Daniel 2 and beasts of Daniel 7 have one common denominator: each one has dealt or will deal with Israel.
