Iranian regime is the modern day Haman

JOL OP-Ed: In a recent speech, Ayatollah Khamenei called Israel a “cancerous tumor” which should be “cured” in phases.

According to him, these phases include violent intifadas and terror attacks “until the complete liberation of Palestine.”

Jewish sources stress that in every generation, Amalek rises to destroy the Jewish people and each time, he clothes himself in a different nation. In our times, the new Haman is the Iranian regime. more

Opinion: The Jewish sources are found in Exodus 17:16, Deuteronomy 25:17.

There are few Jewish scholars that would dispute the presence of an Amalek in the generations. But most stop short of making an actual bloodline connection.

In our first book Antichrist: the Search For Amalek we followed the bloodline of Amalek, illegitimate grandson of Esau, to Persia, modern day Iran.

Haman’s lineage is found in the Targum Sheni (Aramaic translation and embellishment of the book of Esther).

Excerpt: “Haman was an Agagite, a descendant of Agag, king of Amalek. An Agagite is an Amalekite, and Amalek was a descendant of Esau. Haman’s lineage is given in the Targum Sheni as follows: “Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, son of Srach, son of Buza, son of Iphlotas, son of Dyosef, son of Dyosim, son of Prome, son of Ma’dei, son of Bla’akan, son of Intimrom, son of Harirom, son of Sh’gar, son of Nigar, son of Farmashta, son of Vayezatha, son of Agag, son of Sumki, son of Amalek, son of the concubine of Eliphaz, firstborn son of Esau.”

If we could continue that family tree in the same way that blood markers are now established for the line of Israel’s first High Priest, Aaron, I am convinced we would find the descendants of Amalek not just in Iran but in Hamas, Hezbollah and ISIS as well.

In our second book Blood Feud, chapter 6 has a map to show the migration of Amalek’s blood to Persia, modern day Iran (here).

Excerpt: “In 1 Samuel 15:1-3 Israel’s King Saul was instructed by the prophet Samuel:

“The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord. Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt.  Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

Because Saul let Agag, king of the Amalekites live, the bloodline of Esau spread to Persia (modern day Iran) in 400 BC.

The Amalekites had their origin within the Edomites, being descendants of Esau. Their traditional territory was Transjordan between Babylon and the Gulf of Aqaba. The Edomites and Amalekites were/are enemies of Israel.

As far back as their journey through Sinai, Edom threatened the Israelites with “a mighty hand” and refused to allow them to pass through their territory en route to the Promised Land (Numbers 20:21).

In 400 BC, one who rose to prominence in Persia was Haman, the Agagite, from the book of Esther. He was a noble and vizier to King Ahasuerus (Xerxes). The evil bloodline that God had sworn to fight against in every generation (Ex. 17:16) was on the move. The same hatred that Amalek displayed, the same self-loathing of Jewish blood, and the same satanic effort to eliminate every Jew on earth were evident in Haman.
