Israel to build new settler homes in Shiloh, despite US objections

JPost: “Israel intends to move ahead with plans to construct 98 new homes in the West Bank settlement of Shiloh, despite harsh United States objections to the plan.

On Monday the state informed the High Court of Justice it awaited final bureaucratic approval to develop the site within six months as a relocation option for the 40 families from the Amona outpost.”

corridorOpinion: On October 14, we posted an article (here) “The little Jewish village that Makes Obama’s Blood boil”. While the 40 families that make up Amona may sound trivial, they are anything but. Amona represents Gentile domination of the land of Israel as described by Luke 21:24 over 2000 years ago.

Twenty eight miles north of Amona is the larger town of Shiloh. Both settlements are located in Samaria which was Israel’s first capital. The ancient city is mentioned in Genesis 49:10, Joshua 18:10 and Judges 21:20-21 and has tremendous significance especially if, as some Bible teachers have speculated, the 3rd (tribulation) Jewish temple may be built there.

Netanyahu wants to relocate Amona’s 40 families to Shiloh in a string of outposts, and Obama wants no part of the plan. Obama wants all that land, including a Jew-free corridor to Gaza to be handed over to the Palestinian Authority under its illegitimate president Mahmoud Abbas.

President Obama is making no secret of his continued support for a two-state solution by having raised the issue again during his United Nations address on September 20th, calling upon Israel to end “the occupation”.

The use of the word occupation stirs enmity and it was followed by a White House memo detaching Jerusalem from Israel “Jerusalem, Israel.” just 10 days later. Is it then a coincidence that the first of two UNESCO votes that denied Jewish connection to Jerusalem occurred eleven days after that?

How ironic that the fate of two ancient Jewish towns may be one of the most important headlines of the US election. If Mrs. Clinton is elected, a continuation of the Obama occupation policy will embolden the Arab world and ramp up pressure on Netanyahu to get out of the West Bank completely.

A Trump win could push a vindictive Obama to line up with Abbas and demand an end to the so-called occupation immediately.

And if Mr. Trump makes good on his 100% promise to move the United States Embassy to Jerusalem, the second Arab Spring could be just around the corner, and with it the first of two prophesied wars.
