The Times of Israel: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made clear Wednesday that he was opposed to a return to the pre-1967 division of Jerusalem in a future peace deal, and slammed a UNESCO resolution eliding Jewish ties to the Temple Mount.
“We remember Jerusalem up until the Six Day War,” he said, when the city was split, with Israelis excluded from the Old City and its eastern neighborhoods. “We certainly do not want to return to that situation.”
“I believe the Six Day War clarified to our enemies that we are here to stay,” he added.”
Opinion: “And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24
The beginning of Gentile domination of Jerusalem began in 586 BC when Nebuchadnezzar’s army destroyed the city and sanctuary and carried the Israelites off to Babylon for 70 years.
It is not hard to see the Gentile domination today. There are currently three peace plans : the Saudi plan, Egypt’s plan and the French plan that convenes this Friday.
Talk about Gentile domination, Jewish leaders are not even invited to Paris.
According to Zechariah 14:1-2 Jerusalem will again fall under Gentile domination late in the Tribulation just before the return of Jesus Messiah.
In the next 4 verses, Luke 21: 25-28, Jesus noted the cosmic signs that will precede His coming.
