West Bank: Two Palestinian terrorists killed and 5 IDF soldiers injured

Clashes at several points in Palestinian territories as terror groups attempt to escalate violence

After a tense night of operations in Judea and Samaria, the Israel Defense Forces announced this morning that five Border Police were injured by a grenade while assisting IDF soldiers during an arrest operation in the Tulkarm refugee camp.

Israeli security forces entered the camp early Thursday morning to arrest a wanted suspect.

“Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt, 18 how he met you on the way and attacked your rear ranks, all the stragglers at your rear, when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God.” Deut. 25:17-18

During the activity, there was an exchange of fire between terrorists and IDF forces. Several improvised explosive devices were thrown at the soldiers who responded with live fire.

After the suspect was apprehended, and forces were withdrawing from the refugee camp, a grenade explosion injured five Border Police soldiers.

Three of the soldiers are in serious condition, while two were in light-moderate condition.

The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.
