Just how groundbreaking was the Saudi crown prince’s comment on Israel?

YNet News: MBS’s interview to a Jewish journalist at an American magazine took place in the framework of his current visit to the US. Refraining from criticism of Israel and saying nice things about Jews is the crown prince’s way to present his kingdom in a new light, Guzansky posited.

“He wants to present a new, vibrant Saudi Arabia. One of the ways to do that pragmatically is showing a different attitude toward Jews and Israel.”

MBS’s statement about Israel’s rights is part of a “gradual, linear policy that is progressing toward something. I don’t know what it is,” he said. more …

Opinion: How about a peace treaty? The future 32-year-old leader of the most important Sunni nation, custodian of the two holiest Muslim sites (Mecca and Medina), is paving the road to Daniel 9:27

“Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

At some future time after the Church of Jesus Christ is raptured (1 Thess. 4:1-18, 5:9), a powerful leader will emerge (Rev. 6:1-2) who will confirm a peace treaty already in existence, for 1 week (Hebrew 7 years).

(Keep in mind that the failed 1993 Oslo Accords was a 7 year treaty)

In the middle of the week (3.5 years) that same leader will be assassinated, indwelt by Satan, and stun the world with a false resurrection (Rev. 13:3-4).

With the church gone, who will know his true identity?

He will end animal sacrifice (which prophesies a 3rd temple), declare himself god (abomination), and demand worship enforced by a false religious leader (Rev. 13:11-12).

Jesus Himself warned the Jews in Matthew 24:15-16, that the prophecy of Daniel will begin a time of wrath that if not cut short no flesh would survive (Matthew 24:22).

There can be no peace treaty without the Saudis.

  1. Very interesting point! I have been telling people for years that AC will not be an American president, it will not be the pope, it is not Michael Jackson or Gorbachev. While Putin matches up to just about every AC characteristic, prophetically speaking, he is certainly not the AC either. I had known for years that AC will come from the ME, even if AC comes straight out of Israel. Now, Saudi Arabia is something I had not specifically thought of. But it could certainly be the place. Especially given the close historical ties between the Jews and the Saudi royal family. They are practically joined at the hip.
