Moroccan King Mohammed VI Restores Jewish Names of Marrakech Ghetto

Breaking Israel News: “The original names of the historic Jewish quarter of Marrakech, the famed Mellah (Arabic and Hebrew for salt), are being restored under the instructions of Moroccan King Mohammed VI, Maghreb Arabe Presse reported this week.

Morocco’s Interior Ministry announced that, following the King’s recent visit to the neighborhood which is currently known as the Essalam district, it will be renamed El Mellah. The original Jewish names of the area’s streets and squares will also be restored.”

Opinion: We are reminded of the perfect word of God. From Genesis 12-17 the everlasting covenant that God made with Abraham and his descendants after him can be found all over the world, even in countries that are 99% Muslim.

“I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you” – no exceptions.

Our post from October 14, 2016 (here) “King Hassan II of Morocco, who didn’t trust his guests\ from the Arab League, secretly recorded the discussions at a 1965 summit. It was the information mined from these recordings—that the king gave the Israeli Mossad—which helped the IDF prepare for the war to come some two years later.”

It was Morocco’s king, through the providence of God. who helped Israel prepare to avoid complete annihilation as Egypt, Syria and Jordan plotted for the 1967 war. By doing so, king Hassan II brought blessing to his nation as king Mohammed VI is doing today.

The Six day war has been the topic of much discussion since president Obama’s decision to abstain on December 23 on UN Resolution 2334, declaring Israel’s building in her capital illegal.

And it was John Kerry’s 70 minute speech, five days later, that declared Israel should go back to the 1967 borders and hand the Edomite’s of the West bank land that they were never entitled to.

To this day, Morocco, which is 99% Muslim, has been spared from terror attacks.
