Al Monitor: Just over half a year after Donald Trump entered the White House, the first public dispute between him and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, i.e., Netanyahu, has surfaced.

Israel opposes the cease-fire agreement in southern Syria, Netanyahu told reporters July 16, after a meeting in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron. Netanyahu argued that the agreement, announced by the United States and Russia July 7 at the G-20 meeting in Hamburg, Germany, perpetuates Iran’s presence in Syria.  more …

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, an Israeli source intimately familiar with what is happening behind the scenes told Al-Monitor emphatically, “This is not just some disagreement. This is a real clash, pitting Israel against Russia and the United Statesmore …

Opinion: The road to ME peace just hit a speed bump. If my analysis is correct, it will be the first of many.

Danger to Israel:

  • An Iranian missile factory in Hezbollah inhabited (Psalm 83:6) southern Lebanon
  • Iranian and Syrian missile launching pads in Syria
  • US and Russian partitioned sections of Syria limit Israeli movement
  • Israeli concerns are being ignored
  • US/Russian agreement is reminiscent of P5+1 nuclear deal which Israel fought only diplomatically

The 5000 pound elephant in the room is a potential sea of oil in the Golan Heights that neither Iran nor Russia can afford for Israel to have.

Ezekiel 38:11-12 written 2500 years ago prophesied that Russia, Iran, Turkey, and north Africa will attack Israel over plunder. Ezekiel left it for us to figure out what it is.

We begin in Genesis to look for clues:

Genesis 49:25
Deuteronomy 33:13
Deuteronomy 33:19
Deuteronomy 33:24
Deuteronomy 32:12-13
Isaiah 45:3

  1. What a conundrum. Should Israel trust America?

While my opinion of Netanyahu is less than stellar, I have an even lower opinion of Trump. Trump has about as much knowledge of Israel and the Middle East as Muslim women have about their own Qur’an. Yet, for some bizarre reason the world has been looking to Donald Trump and his team of misfits to fix Israel, Syria, Iran and the rest of the car wreck we call the Middle East.

What Netanyahu needs to do, first and foremost, is completely distance Trump from Israel. Then, put together an actual functional team of Israeli’s that have a respectable level of intelligence and are only interested in eliminating “Palestine” from Israel at all cost. Over the past several decades, America has proven to be nothing more than a severe hindrance on peace in the Middle East/Israel. It is time for Israel to “build a wall” between them and America.
