Netanyahu: Syrian gas attack photos ‘should shake every human being’

YNet News
: Referring to the suspected gas attack in the northwestern Syria’s Idlib that day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on Tuesday, “The pictures that come to us should shake every human being.”

According to medical sources in Idlib, at least 100 people were killed and another 400 were injured in attacks that apparently using Sarin gas. more …

Opinion: We were told by John Kerry that the chemical weapons were gone. We were told that the Syrians had allowed the Russians and the U.N. to remove all of Syria’s chemical weapons stockpile.

“All the dangerous substances from Syria’s chemical weapons program, including sulfur mustard and precursors of sarin, have now been removed from the country after a monthslong process, a Hague-based watchdog agency said” (source WSJ June 23, 2014)

It was, like so many other reports from the past eight years – it was a lie.

In 2013, Obama’s infamous red line was crossed. Bashar Assad used chemical weapons on his own people and the US president equivocated. Vladimir Putin agreed to oversee the removal of what was/is the largest chemical weapons stash in the Middle East.

One of Saddam Hussein’s top generals and military advisers, Georges Sada, in his 2009 book Saddam’s Secrets said this about Iraq’s chemical weapons:

Excerpt. Antichrist: the Search For Amalek:

“In February of 1998, Madeleine Albright said, “Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use—nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons—against us or our allies is the greatest threat we face.”

“Everybody knew that reality at the start of the [Iraq] war. I’m convinced it was only politics that made some understood people change their minds about the facts.

Iraqi engineers are very good at manufacturing chemical weapons systems for artillery shells, rockets, missiles, and other ordinance… the chemical and mechanical engineers continued building and developing all these systems, on into 2003 and after the American invasion began.

The point is that… he knew he would have to take special measures to destroy, hide, or at least disguise his stashes of biological and chemical weapons, along with his laboratories, equipment, and plans associated with nuclear weapons development.

But then much to his good fortune, a natural disaster occurring in neighboring Syria provided the perfect cover story for moving a large number of those things out of the country. Furthermore, I know the names of those who were involved in smuggling WMDs out of Iraq in 2002 and 2003.

I know the names of the officers of the front company, SES, who received the weapons from Saddam. I know how and when they were transported and shipped out of Iraq.”

  1. Does anyone find the timing of this chemical attack a bit odd? Remember what Nikki Haley said last week?

    Before the chemical attack:
    From “Haaretz”
“Our priority is no longer to sit there and focus on getting [Syrian President Bashar] Assad out,” Nikki Haley, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, said last Thursday – and with that put the final kibosh on Barack Obama’s policy for Syria.

    After the chemical attack:
    From “The Hill”
Trump said that a chemical attack in Syria that killed dozens of people, including children, “crossed a lot of lines for me.”

The president also said, “it is very, very possible — and I will tell you it’s already happened — that my attitude toward Syria and Assad has changed very much.”

We know Trump does not operate in an ideological manner. He’s always been transactional. More than that though, he is reactionary. The opposition from within the intelligence community and from the democrats have kept him in a defensive posture and not “leaning forward”, as Donald Rumsfeld would say, with his own agenda. So what does this all mean?

It looks to me like Trump has been played beautifully on Syria. We will probably never know exactly who perpetrated this chemical attack but guess who got exactly what they wanted? People like McCain, Obama and his minions, and the deep state must be knocking back the champagne today.

And guess who else may be downing the bubbly? President Xi Jinping of China. Why? Trump is using the North Korean issue as a bargaining chip in the upcoming negotiations with Xi. The last thing the Chinese want to see are bombs being dropped on North Korea, for that would produce massive amounts of refugees flooding across their border. So if it appears Trump will be obligating the military to increase assets in Syria, that would essentially remove military action off the chess board with North Korea.

What’s more troubling than potentially botching the upcoming negotiation with China is the appearance our President can be easily manipulated. I so hope my natural paranoia is clouding my thinking on these matters.

I would love to get The Centurion’s take on this since he worked in the intelligence community.
