The Bible foretells many signs that would culminate in the last days. Jesus indicated these signs would arise together as His return drew near. Though many of these prophecies won’t reach complete fulfillment until the Tribulation period, our generation is the first to see every trend in place. As the final seconds of this age tick away, these events will come into even clearer focus.
We looked at a dozen current event issues at our spring Understanding the Times Conference in suburban Minneapolis Thursday, May 11. How are events in the world—and the church—revealing that the hour is later than ever? Participants included Bill Koenig, Michele Bachmann, Pastor Mark Henry, and Jan Markell.
Daniel 12 tells us that there is a time coming when the wise would understand things previous generations could not. God told Daniel about events that would occur long after his death. People simply would not understand until the end times when things predicted were being fulfilled.
As these events begin to unfold, many people will be searching for information about what is happening and perhaps some will look at these prophesies of Daniel and begin to understand.
