PA Welcomes US House of Representatives Support of Two-State Solution

JPost: The Palestinian Authority on Saturday welcomed a United States House of Representatives resolution that expresses support for the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Friday’s non-binding resolution also warned Israel against any attempts towards annexation of territory in the West Bank. The resolution declared that “only the outcome of a two-state solution…can both ensure the state of Israel’s survival as a Jewish and democratic state and fulfill the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people for a state of their own.”

It also noted US opposition to “settlement expansion, moves toward unilateral annexation of territory, and efforts to achieve Palestinian statehood status outside the framework of negotiations with Israel.”

The PA president’s office said in response to the resolution that it “appreciates the resolution taken by Congress in support of the two-state solution, and which rejects Israel’s policy of settlement and annexation.” Read More …

Opinion: Blah blah blah. Any member of Congress that could vote for a two-state solution has either not been paying attention to the horror that ‘Palestinian Arabs’ have perpetrated on the Jewish people, or are just plain stupid. By the way, there were 226 who voted for it.

The two-state solution for ME peace began in 1991 under George Herbert Walker Bush.

Excerpt: Antichrist: The Search for Amalek:

“The Madrid Conference was essentially a “land-for-peace” deal. Having turned down a two-state solution in 1947, the Arab side was demanding a state inside Israel without acknowledging Israel’s right to exist.

In Genesis 12:3, God warned the nations that there would be blessings for those who blessed Israel and there would be curses for those who cursed her. Just to make His point doubly clear, God warned the nations that the land of Israel belonged to Him (Joel
3:1–2) and that it was not to be divided. Obviously, no one in Madrid that day knew or cared about God’s word on the matter, and judgment was forthcoming.

As President George H. W. Bush was opening the Madrid Conference to consider “land for peace” and Israel’s Middle East role, the “perfect storm” developed in the North Atlantic, creating the largest waves ever recorded in that region.

The storm traveled 1000 miles from “east to west” instead of the normal “west to east” pattern and crashed into the New England Coast. Thirty-five foot waves pounded Kennebunkport, Maine and destroyed the summer home of the Bush family.”

You would think that rational men would learn from the Kennebunkport fiasco but Herbert Walker Bush was followed by Bill Clinton and by 1993 the Madrid proposals were hopelessly bogged down.

Enter George W. Bush, the ‘Road Map to Peace’ was proposed in a speech on June 24, 2002 and called for an independent Palestinian state living side by side with Israel.

One year later the plan reached a deadlock and wound up in the trash bin of history.

The next president to take on the peace process was Barack Hussein Obama who decided that if there was to be a two-state solution, it would come by apologizing to the Muslim world for America’s ‘derisiveness’.

On June 4, 2009, the young president invited the Muslim Brotherhood, parent organization to the terror groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad to his infamous Cairo speech. The Brotherhood had been banned in Egypt for 30 years, but on that day in June, representatives of the terror organization sat front and center.

Two years later, the Arab Spring broke out. The Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi became the president of Egypt and a 30-year relationship with Israel was in shambles.
