Algemeiner: A delegation of Palestinian Authority officials will travel to Washington, DC later this month, in preparation for an expected upcoming White House meeting between US President Donald Trump and PA President Mahmoud Abbas, the Hebrew news site nrg reported on Thursday.

Earlier this week, Maliki told the Bahrain News Agency, “The main goal here is to reach understandings that would make the president’s visit [to Washington] a success and that it will come out with positive results that would serve the Palestinian cause.” more …
Opinion: There are two events coming in the next 17 days that will set the course of Middle East politics for the foreseeable future:
1. Mahmoud Abbas will visit the White House by invitation of President Trump sometime in April. Abbas will be against moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. President Trump’s demeanor will speak volumes as to his intentions regarding the US embassy.
2. President Trump has to make a decision by May 2 as to whether he will set plans in to motion to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, or sign a waiver for 6 months, like each of his predecessors have done.
A postponement would break a major campaign promise and embolden the Arab world. The embassy move would enrage the Arab world and possibly be the catalyst for Psalm 83.
