Pope appears to back anti-Trump protests in letter condemning populism

The Guardian: Pope Francis has offered his unequivocal support to grassroots organisers and activists who are fighting for social justice, migrants, and environmentalism, saying he “reaffirms” their choice to fight against tyranny amid a “gutting of democracies”.

As Christians and all people of good will, it is for us to live and act at this moment. It is a grave responsibility, since certain present realities, unless effectively dealt with, are capable of setting off processes of dehumanisation which would then be hard to reverse,” the pontiff wrote in a letter that was read to organisers this week.

While he did not name Donald Trump, and stressed his remarks were not targeted at any individual politician, the letter, read at the opening of the US Regional World Meeting of Popular Movements in Modesto, California, seem to speak directly to protests against the Republican president. more

Opinion: You can take the pope out of Argentina but you can’t take Argentina out of this pope.

This same pope said Mass on the Mexico border to encourage illegal immigration,, embraced a Palestinian terrorist/murderer and spoke of building bridges not walls (like the one he has).

He called into question whether anyone who does such things is a true Christian. Hmmm

In his letter, Francis condemned the growth of populist and xenophobic movements around the world, saying they posed a “grave danger for humanity’ and praised activists. His next quote gave away the true intention:

“I know that you have committed yourselves to fight for social justice, to defend our Sister Mother Earth and to stand alongside migrants. I want to reaffirm your choice,” he wrote.

The fight for globalism with a mother church is right from the pages of Revelation 17:

Rev. 17:3-5 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written:

The beast is an obvious reference to the global government of Daniel 7:24. With the Church in the New Jerusalem, a Biblically ignorant world will embrace social justice for all.

The purple and scarlet and glittering gold bears a strong resemblance to the church from which the pope comes.
