Lifesite News: Pope Francis and Italian Bishop Domenico Sorrentino have taken part in an interreligious video project which describes borders as “more and more irrelevant” and calls on all people to come together in response to the coronavirus.
The “Coronaspection” project, produced by The Elijah Interfaith Institute, features more than 30 different religious leaders from various faiths and stresses that “everything is interconnected.”
The trailer for the project opens with a clip from Pope Francis’ March “Ubi et Orbi” speech, and is followed by a series of video clips of leaders of various faith communities reflecting on the coronavirus crisis. Read More ...

The Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together was signed by His Holiness Pope Francis of the Catholic Church and the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

While every pope since the reformation has worked to bring Protestant denominations back under the wing of Rome, no pope has worked harder than Francis, who, at the same time, has turned Catholic dogma upside down creating a near schism inside the church.
Nothing makes the ground more fertile for change than a divided church. And nothing has made the move faster toward global brotherhood of religions than Covid-19.
