Pope laments ‘winds of war’ blowing around the world

Yahoo: Lamenting “the winds of war” blowing around the world, Pope Francis in his traditional Christmas message on Monday called for a two-state solution to find peace in the Middle East and prayed that confrontation can be overcome on the Korean Peninsula.

The pope took particular aim at areas of global tension where President Donald Trump is playing a critical role. Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has ignited new violence in the Middle East, while confrontation with North Korea over its nuclear tests has escalated tensions in Asia.

He asked for peace for Jerusalem and the Holy Land, and prayed “that the will to resume dialogue may prevail between the parties and that a negotiated solution can finally be reached, one that would allow the peaceful coexistence of two states within mutually agreed and internationally recognized borders.”

Opinion: The leader of 1.2 billion Catholics (and growing) remains Biblically and historically blind about who the rightful owners of the covenant land are.

I have never heard the Pope even once admonish Arab Palestinians for denying Israel’s right to exist. I have never heard him once condemn the building of terror tunnels, persistent stabbings or constant rocket attacks on Israeli citizens, and I have never heard him acknowledge that Israel’s prophesied rebirth (Amos 9:14-15; Isaiah 11:11, 66:7-9; Ezekiel 37:10-14) started the prophetic clock ticking that will lead to the literal second coming of Jesus Christ and His 1000 year reign on earth (Revelation 20:1-6)

The reason is that the Catholic church is amillennial. There is no teaching of the rapture (1 Thess. 4:16-18), and no teaching on the Millennial Reign.

The Catholic church teaches Replacement Theology: that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plan and that all the blessings and covenants promised to Israel in the Old Testament have been transferred to the church (in contradiction of Romans 9:3-5).

And the Catholic church is not alone. Replacement Theology is currently the most widely held belief in the World Council of Churches, the Presbyterian Church USA, the Methodist Church, the Lutheran Church (ELCA), the Anglican Church and the United Church of Christ, to name a few.

How ironic that Pope Francis’ warning about the winds of war are being fanned by himself.

  1. The Catholic Church, much like many “churches” of today’s society are a cult whose spiritual aim is to openly deceive the world. Much like several modern churches, they have strayed further and further from the truth that is in the word of God. The leader of Catholicism and his opinions and teachings are no different than that of the former leader of the Branch Davidians back in the 80’s and early 90’s. Purposely deceptive teaching, misleading the rest of the world, their members attempting to recruit the weak through manipulation and lies.

This world needs to stop paying attention to the cults of this world because they serve the enemy, and they need to get back to basics by studying the Bible and continuously build a meaningful relationship with the Lord.
