Pope Pius XII knew from Jesuit priest about Nazi death camp – sources

Israel 365: The Vatican is going to great effort to reconcile with Judaism over its role in World War II, but a recently revealed letter suggests that Pope Pius XII had detailed information from a trusted German Jesuit that up to 6,000 Jews and Poles were being gassed each day in German-occupied Poland. This contradicts previous claims by the Holy See that the Vatican was ignorant of these atrocities and therefore did not protest the Nazi regime’s actions.
